General:
Annual or biennial herb from a taproot; stems up to 1.5 m tall, leafy.

Leaves:
Glaucous, glabrous or sparsely hairy; basal leaves pinnately lobed, often clasping at the bases; stem leaves somewhat pinnately lobed, stalked.

Flowers:
In elongate racemes; flower stalks slender, spreading to ascending; petals golden to dull yellow, 10-14 mm long.

Fruits:
Siliques, ascending, 5-10 cm long; styles beaked, 7-11 mm long; seeds about 1.8 mm long, finely honeycombed. Brassicaceae
